Tatiana Restaurant - Brighton Beach
By sarahd
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant on the boardwalk at Brighton Beach, Brooklyn NY. (Look closely at the picture because there is another restaurant, Tatiana Grill, that is next door. I don't know anything about that place.) From the outside it looks a bit worse for wear with its tattered awning. It also has mirrored windows , which are a bit cheesy.
The awesome location caused me to assume that it was the sort of place that gets plenty of business without trying very hard. I have found that this sort of restaurant often has horrible food. I was very pleasantly surprised, and would recommend this place highly. Definitely worth a trip. We were there for lunch. I think they charge a cover and also have a significant minimum charge for dinner. They must have class A entertainment in the evenings!
Everything we ordered was tasty. Elissa had a traditional Russian soup. I forget what it is called. Charles had a bean salad of some sort that he oohed and ahhed over. I had a crepe with fruit and ice cream. Yummy! John had a pork dish. The prices were very reasonable.
